Columbia Basin College student art show opens May 8

The annual Columbia Basin College student art show runs May 8 to June 8 at Esvelt Gallery on the Pasco campus.

An awards reception is at 7 p.m. May 18.

“The exhibit features work from CBC art students, with skills learned through classroom curriculum,” a news release said The works include drawing, painting, illustration, photography, sculpture, 2-D design, 3-D design and ceramics.

The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fridays.
