Mid-Columbia Youth Symphony plans concert Dec. 3 in Kennewick

Mid-Columbia Youth Symphony plans its first concert of the season on Dec. 3 at in Kennewick.

Showtime is 7 p.m. at Southridge High School. Adrienne Shields is conducting.

The show is called Once Upon a Time and will feature The Fairy Queen Suite by Purcell, Wedding Day at Troldhaugen by Grieg, selections from Cinderella Suite No. 1 by Prokofiev and Waltz from Sleeping Beauty, Suite for Orchestra, Op. 66a by Tchaikovsky.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. Children 5 and younger will be admitted for free.

Tickets are available at the Mid-Columbia Symphony office at 1177 Jadwin Ave., in Richland, by phone at 509-943-6602 and at the door.
