Collection of high-adventure films to screen Nov. 11 in Richland

An award-winning collection of high-adventure films will screen Nov. 11 at Battelle Auditorium in Richland.

The Reel Rock Film Tour features rock, ice and mountain climbers “pushing the limits of mind and body,” a news release said.

Showtime is 7 p.m. in the auditorium on Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s campus.

Tri-City Court Club, REI and TheRockClimbingGuide.com are co-sponsoring the event. During intermission, door prizes — from REI outdoor gear to a free three-month Court Club family membership — will be awarded.

Cost is $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the REI in Kennewick.

Proceeds will go to Friends of Badger Mountain.
