Wildflower presentation set Nov. 9 in Richland
Photographer and botanist Mark Turner will discuss “Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest” on Nov. 9 in Richland.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife is sponsoring the presentation, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Reach museum, 1943 Columbia Park Trail.
“Mark has a passion for wildflowers, other native plants and gardens. He strives to combine the visual arts with a clear understanding of the biology of his subject matter,” a news release said.
The West Virginia native is part of the Professional Photographers of Washington, the Professional Photographers of America and the Garden Writers Association.
Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for students, seniors and members of the military.
