‘Julius Caesar’ auditions set Oct. 30, Nov. 1

The Rude Mechanicals theater company is holding auditions for its upcoming production of Julius Caesar on Oct. 30 and Nov. 1. Callbacks are Nov. 2.

Actors should prepare a gender nonspecific dramatic Shakespearean monologue of one minute or less. They also should fill out the audition form on The Rude Mechanicals website, rmtheatre.org.

The role of Julius Caesar will be played by a woman, with all other roles open to all genders.

The show is in January at the Uptown Theatre in Richland.
