Walla Walla artist’s work to be featured in October at CBC gallery
Paintings and ceramic pieces by Walla Walla artist Jay Anderson will be featured in October at Esvelt Gallery at Columbia Basin College, 2600 N. 20th Ave., Pasco.
The exhibit is called Middle Ground, which has dual meaning.
“Middle Ground refers to the space in a painting between the foreground and background (this space is always ambiguous in Anderson’s work). It is also synonymous with finding common ground. For the viewer, this could mean artistic common ground or even political common ground,” a news release said.
The show runs Oct. 3-31. An opening reception is planned at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 3 in the gallery.
It’s free and open to the public.
