Walter Salas-Humara to perform Sept. 30 in Prosser
Walter Salas-Humara will perform Sept. 30 at Brewminatti in Prosser.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
The acclaimed rocker formed The Silos in 1985 with guitarist Bob Rupe and violinist Mary Rowell, “plugging the main cable of American rock idiom into the jerry-rigged soundboard of Velvets-era feral experimentalism,” a news release said.
The influential band made several acclaimed albums, and Salas-Humara also has made several well-received solo records.
He’s shared the stage with greats from Wilco to Lucinda Williams, Violent Femmes, The Jayhawks, Yo La Tengo and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Cost is $12 in advance and $17 the day of show.
Brewminatti is at 713 Sixth St.
