Gesa Carousel of Dreams to mark 2-year anniversary Sept. 24
The Gesa Carousel of Dreams is marking its two-year anniversary on Sept. 24 with a public celebration.
Activities run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and include carousel rides, a video game theater, bounce houses, a magic show and a stilt walker, plus appearances by Disney’s Ariel and Elsa and Miss Tri-Cities and Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen.
We Ice also will be on hand, and concessions will be sold.
The public will be able to buy a 10-ride punch card for $15 as part of a one-day special sale.
In its two years of operation, the carousel has welcomed 334,000 riders, and its event center has been the site of 558 events, from community fundraisers to business seminars, a news release said.
The carousel is at the Southridge Sports and Events Complex in Kennewick.
