Joe Jonas Drops Most Charming Song Of The Summer For Hay Day

Supercell and Joe Jonas have dropped "The Cozy Anthem," an original country-inspired song written for Hay Day. Jonas took the mobile farming game's iconic theme melody and built a full lyrical track around it. The result is either the most specific creative brief ever handed to a pop star or evidence that Supercell's marketing team genuinely understands what it's making. Probably both.

The song is live now across streaming platforms and is playing inside every Hay Day farm through June 30. It kicks off a two-week virtual music festival inside the game, with Jonas headlining and a supporting lineup of emerging digital-first artists filling out the bill.

What's Actually Happening Inside the Game

The in-game event is more than ambient background music. Clickable music notes float around players' farms as they work, tied to community milestones that unlock 13 playable note-inspired decorations. Completing those milestones unlocks items that players get to keep permanently.

Players can also earn an exclusive Cozy Jukebox decoration, which plays The Cozy Anthem even once the event ends. From June 18 through June 30, a custom web experience lets players create their own version of the song and share their covers on TikTok. Jonas himself shared the song on his TikTok.

"With everything I've got going on, it's not always easy to find a moment to disconnect," says Joe Jonas. "Hay Day has become one of those little escapes where I can relax, have fun, and recharge. There's something strangely satisfying about checking on your farm before checking your emails."

Maya Hofree, Hay Day General Manager, described the collaboration as a natural extension of the game's identity as a feel-good recharge experience. The "Cozy Covers" initiative, which lets players unlock early access to fan covers of the anthem inside their community inbox, is the piece that makes this feel participatory rather than promotional.

Hay Day is free-to-play on iOS and Android. The festival runs through June 30.
