Simone Biles Admits She's ‘Not Ready' to Talk About Her Medical Emergency After Fans Ask for Update
Simone Biles made it clear to fans curious about her recent medical emergency that she would talk about it when she is ready, and that's not now. On June 14, the gymnast shared a relaxing video of herself getting ready to travel with her husband, Jonathan Owens, to Belize for a fun trip.
She captioned the clip, "TRAVEL W/ ME TO BELIZE 🏝️👙💕🐚." In the video, Biles woke up and did her regular morning routine, such as brushing her teeth and doing her skincare. After that, she fed their dogs and finished packing before the couple headed out.
Biles shared short clips of their arrival at the airport, their flight, and touching down in Belize, before ending with a shot of her and Owens enjoying delicious-looking drinks.
Many fans were happy to see her enjoy a fun vacation, such as one who commented, "Girll my bank account said no but you go ahead. Enjoy your trip. 🩵." Another said, "Glad to see you doing better. Have a relaxing time."

While most of her fans were supportive and encouraging, there were naturally a lot of people still curious about her recent health scare. In early June, Biles revealed that she was hospitalized after a serious emergency, writing, "almost dying wasn't on my bingo card earlier this week. This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life."
Thankfully, she seems to be doing much better, but fans are hoping to learn more. One response to her latest video read, "Never got the update on near death experience 😕."
There were other comments similar to this one, but Biles directly responded to this fan to shut down the constant questions and speculation. She simply wrote, "Not ready to talk about it just yet ❤️🩹."
When she first shared the personal news, Biles said, "I'll explain sooner or later," but nothing beyond that. It's unclear if she will ever share the details about the private ordeal.
