Chart-Topping Country Star Puts New Spin on Beloved Shania Twain Classic
Ella Langley's country music takeover continues - now with a stunning cover of a beloved Shania Twain hit.
Just as the up-and-coming country songstress has been breaking records and dominating the charts, Langley decided to wow her fanbase yet again with a stripped-down cover of Twain's the '90s country ballad, "You're Still the One."
Langley, 27, uploaded a TikTok video last week to share her acoustic piano version of the 1998 hit, which is one of the most-loved songs from Twain's entire music catalog.
In her version, Langley performed the song unplugged, using just a piano and her velvety vocals to breathe new life into the beloved ballad. She wrote in the caption under the video, "I'll never get over this song."

Not only did Langley's cover get plenty of love from her fans, but it even caught the attention of Twain herself, who took to the comments to give Langley her stamp of approval.
"So flattered ❤️" Twain, 60, wrote, while telling Langley she "loved getting to connect" with her at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, which took place last month.
Tons of users on TikTok chimed in to praise Langley's cover of the timeless classic, with one fan calling it a "beautiful spin" on the song. Another user referred to Langley as an "Absolute superstar" for the flawless rendition.
Langley's cover of "You're Still the One" comes in the midst of her impressive run on the music charts, with her signature song "Choosin' Texas' recently breaking a record on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
As of the chart dated the week of June 13, "Choosin' Texas" has spent 28 weeks on top of the Hot Country Songs chart, becoming the chart's longest-leading hit by a solo female artist.
