The Simpsons Invade MONOPOLY GO! for a Limited-Time Mobile Gaming Event

Fans of MONOPOLY GO! will notice an invasion of the citizens of Springfield as The Simpsons have taken over the popular mobile game. The MONOPOLY GO! x The Simpsons collaboration runs for a short time through July 29. So players will have a short opportunity to explore and build across Springfield's landmarks, such as the Nuclear Power Plant, Krustyland, and more.

Longtime fans of the series will find plenty to appreciate beyond the headline characters. The crossover is packed with Easter eggs, hidden details, and deep-cut references that celebrate more than three decades of Simpsons history. Whether players are casual viewers or dedicated fans who have followed the show for years, there are numerous nods and surprises waiting to be discovered throughout the event.

To celebrate the collaboration, a behind-the-scenes feature has been released that explores how the development team brought Springfield into the world of MONOPOLY GO! The video highlights the creative process behind adapting beloved characters, locations, and visual elements from the series while maintaining the game's signature style. It also provides insight into the production of an animated short created specifically for the crossover.

The animated short that has been viewed over 7 million times on YouTube features a showdown between two of the richest characters in popular culture, Mr. Monopoly and Mr. Burns. The short features humor from both MONOPOLY and The Simpsons, with Homer Simpson getting mixed up in the feud between Burns and Mr. Monopoly. If you recognize the voice of Will Ferrell, it is because he's the voice of Mr. Monopoly.
