New Photos Show Search for Savannah Guthrie's Missing Mom After Anonymous Tip
New photos have been released from the search that took place at the U.S.-Mexico border after authorities received an anonymous tip about Nancy Guthrie's whereabouts.
TMZ shared photos showing a bunch of volunteers searching the area.
On Wednesday, June 10, Ramona Guadalupe Ayala Ortiz, head of Buscando Corazones Nogales, said that they were told about an "unmarked grave" in the area, the New York Post reports. During the search, they found 25 unmarked graves, but did not find Guthrie.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a statement that they are aware of the tip but have not been in contact with the search group.
"We are aware of reports regarding an anonymous tip related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation that was provided to a group in Mexico. At this time, we have not been contacted by Mexican authorities," the statement said. "This investigation remains active and ongoing, and we will continue to follow up on any credible information."
Guthrie's case has the nation captivated, with people everywhere showing support for "Today" host Savannah Guthrie and her beloved mom. She was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, 2026.
Savannah has continued to use her platform to share messages of hope, specifically posting an emotional video on Sunday, May 10 in honor of Mother's Day.
"Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie - we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you," she captioned the video. "We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available.
"Please keep praying," Savannah concluded. "Bring her home. 💛"
