Second 'Selling Sunset' Star's Home Burglarized

Heather Rae El-Moussa and husband Tarek El Moussa returned home from vacation to find their home had been burglarized.

The couple, who reside in Newport Beach, California, were in Los Cabos, Mexico, when the break-in occurred, according to TMZ.

The outlet reported that Newport Beach Police officers received a call for a burglary on Monday, June 8, around 5:40 p.m.

It's unclear exactly what was stolen, but "several high-value items" were reportedly taken.

Before the news broke, the couple had taken to Instagram to share their "disgust," and announce a social media break.

"Disgusted by some of the cruel heartless people in this world," their statement read. "Tarek and I feel violated and to be honest really sad. Taking a break for a few days and will [be] back to explain soon. We are safe & the kids are safe."

The news comes as Heather is officially set to return to Netflix's Selling Sunsetfor season 10, though a premiere date has yet to be announced.

Heather's co-star Mary Bonnet and husband Romain were also the victims of a robbery. Their Los Angeles home was ransacked in January 2025, and burglars made off with $130,000 worth of jewelry, luxury goods and priceless family heirlooms.

The trauma surrounding the traumatic event was the center of season 9.
