Country Star Postpones Concerts Ahead of Baby's Birth

Tyler Childers has postponed two shows on his ongoing tour as the country star's wife, Senora May, prepares to give birth to their second child.

The "Lady May" singer's official Instagram account announced on Tuesday, June 9, that he was forced to push back his June 10 performance in Buffalo, N.Y., and his June 11 show in Hershey, Pa., as he and his wife get ready to welcome their newest family member.

"As many of you know, Tyler and Senora have been preparing to welcome a new baby," the post began. "That time has come, and the decision has been made to reschedule the two upcoming shows only: Darien Lake Amphitheater on June 10 and Hersheypark Stadium on June 11."

The Darien Lake Amphitheater show has been rescheduled for Aug. 13, with the Hersheypark Stadium concert being pushed to Aug. 14. Musician Evan Honer will join Childers on stage for the rescheduled dates.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, according to the Instagram announcement, and fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled shows can request a refund at their original point of purchase for the next 30 days.

"We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this season," the announcement concluded.

Childers and his wife, who tied the knot in 2015 and welcomed their firstborn in 2022, revealed in February that they were expecting their second child as Childers lamented the closure of a birthing center in his home state of Kentucky.

"Saddened to hear about the impending closure of the birthing center at Ephraim McDowell," the singer wrote in his Instagram Stories at the time. "In [September] of 2022, Senora gave birth to our baby boy here. We were intending on going here for the birth of our second baby, who we are expecting later this summer."

"This birthing center is a vital part of maternal care in the Stanford area," the "All Your'n" singer went on. "It would greatly affect the Amish community surrounding the birthing center as well. The birthing center is a top notch medical facility that Kentucky should be proud of."
