Starbucks Launches Limited-Edition World Cup Sleeve Giveaway

Starbucks is helping fans cheer loudly during the World Cup!

The popular chain announced that on June 11, customers who purchase a beverage of any size at participating Starbucks coffeehouses in the United States will receive a free limited-edition cup sleeve, while supplies last.

"Inspired by the captain's armband, the red, white and blue sleeve celebrates global fandom and the unifying power of the game," Starbucks wrote in a press release, adding that they are looking to "taps into the unique global energy of moments like these."

Starbucks will also be hosting fan gatherings and giving away these local inspired captain cup sleeves in select stores across 30 markets.

"These gatherings and giveaways are designed to foster connection and bring the excitement of the game into coffeehouses in ways only Starbucks can," the coffeehouse added.

But that's not all!

After the overwhelming response to their viral Bearista Cup, Starbucks will also be introducing a new cup with a soccer-themed hat that will be available in stores across Canada, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific region. Fans in the United States can purchase them online beginning on June 11 for Starbucks Rewards Reserve tier members.

These cups debuted in the United States on November 6, 2025, as part of the holiday collection, which was priced at $29.95. And they became a sensation, selling out of stores in minutes.

Starbucks Launching New and Returning Summer Drinks

Starbucks is bringing back one of its popular sweet drinks, announcing that the legendary Unicorn Frappuccino will return this summer. Having first popped up in 2017, the original drink was a sweet mango crème blended base paired with a pleasantly sour, color-changing blue drizzle.

Additionally, Starbucks is launching two new summer drinks: the Blue Coconut Refresher and the Iced Blue Coconut Matcha. They will be available starting June 16 as part of a partnership with Get Blue to help support clean water access. The chain announced that from June 16 through July 7, they will donate 25 cents for every beverage sold.
