"My grandfather was a retired Army general, and he spent a lot of time at Army Navy Country Club in his later years," she told The Washingtonian ahead of the nuptials. "I have so many memories of family meals and summer camp there as a kid. It's very special to be getting married there and I know my grandfather's presence will be felt."
According to the outlet, the bride wore a simple Kyha gown with Christian Louboutin stilettos and a custom veil by hat designer Eric Javits, her godfather. The groom wore a Geoffrey Lewis tuxedo.
The couple described the theme of the evening as "classic but unfussy and fun," and photos shared to their Instagram Stories show them dancing in a gorgeous chandeliered ballroom as a roaming saxophonist serenaded guests. Colorful florals and blue and white linens decorated the dining tables, and bridesmaids wore chocolate brown.
The special evening included readings from both Landers's and Acosta's siblings, and was officiated by Landers' college pal John Lapin.
