Stuntman: Hollywood Revives the Classic Driving Series With Famous Movie and TV Vehicles

Nearly two decades after the last entry in the series, Stuntman is making a return. Stuntman: Hollywood marks the first new installment since 2007's Stuntman: Ignition, bringing the franchise back with a modern focus on blockbuster movie stunts, licensed vehicles, and cinematic action sequences.

Developed and published by Saber Interactive, Stuntman: Hollywood puts players in the role of a professional stunt driver working their way through increasingly ambitious productions. The official Steam page describes the goal simply: become Hollywood's most sought after stuntman by performing explosive scenes inspired by major film and television properties while surviving the dangers that come with them.

The premise remains faithful to what made the original games memorable. Rather than competing in traditional races, players are tasked with executing carefully planned stunt sequences. Success depends on hitting specific marks, maintaining control through dangerous situations, and completing spectacular maneuvers while chaos unfolds around the vehicle.

Famous Vehicles Take Center Stage

Stuntman: Hollywood features stunt scenarios inspired by recognizable franchises including Back to the Future, Fast & Furious, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Death Race. Players will get behind the wheel of iconic vehicles associated with those productions while recreating dangerous action scenes designed specifically for the game.

Among the confirmed vehicles are K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and the famous Time Machine from Back to the Future. The game also includes a broader collection of supercars, muscle cars, motorcycles, and other stunt vehicles built for different types of challenges.

The emphasis on movie productions also allows the developers to create a wide variety of environments and scenarios. Rather than staying within a single setting, players move between different fictional productions, each built around its own stunt sequences and vehicles.

The original Stuntman games earned a reputation for demanding precision and rewarding persistence. Stuntman: Hollywood appears ready to build on that foundation while adding a major new attraction: the chance to perform stunts inspired by some of the most recognizable vehicles in movie and television history.
