Who Won ‘Jeopardy' Today? (May 26, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer
There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.

What was Final Jeopardy today?
Final Jeopardy today was in the category "FAMOUS LINES FROM LITERATURE"
The clue: "Both the first line & the last line of this 1859 novel begin with 'it'"
The answer: "What is A Tale of Two Cities?"
D'Angelo was the only contestant who got FJ wrong ("What is Uncle Tom's Cabin"), costing him $5,800, but it didn't matter due to his commanding lead from DJ, as neither Lu or Jospeh could have caught him, even with a maximum correct wager. He ended the game in first place with $13,400, earning him a five-day winning streak.
Joseph and Lu both answered FJ correctly, as the former wagered $2,100 for a third-place total of $4,300. Meanwhile, after wagering only $67, Lu managed to keep most of his winnings for a second-place total of $5,167.
D'Angelo will return on Wednesday for attempt number six!
