No Season 2 for 'Spartacus: House of Ashur' on Starz
May 23 (UPI) -- There will be no Season 2 for the gladiator drama Spartacus: House of Ashur on Starz.
"All I can say at the moment is one door closes, another, better door opens..." show creator Steven DeKnight wrote on X Friday.
Deadline and TVLine reported the cancellation news Friday, but said Lionsgate Television is shopping the show to other networks and platforms.
Nick E. Tararaby reprised his role of Ashur from Spartacus: Vengeance, another spin-off of the flagship Spartacus series.
Graham McTavish, Tenika Davis and Claudia Black co-starred.
