Celeb Kids Who Graduated in 2026: Reese Witherspoon's Son Deacon and More

Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, Chris Rock and more celebrities are saying, "Hats off to the grad," as their children take the next steps in their school careers.

Exes Witherspoon and Phillippe reunited in May to celebrate their son, Deacon, graduating from New York University with a degree in music. The former spouses, who split in 2006, were all smiles as they posed for pictures with the man of the hour.

Witherspoon and Phillippe's daughter, Ava, as well as Witherspoon's ex-husband Jim Toth and their son, Tennessee, were all in town for the special occasion.

Rock, meanwhile, attended the University of Southern California graduation ceremony that same month to honor his daughter Zahra earning her degree in English.

Nick Dubrow

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow and husband Terry Dubrow watched their son Nick graduate from Loyola Marymount University.

"Incredibly proud of @nickdubrow and everything he's accomplished What a fantastic weekend celebrating him !!! We love you Nicky !!!!!! @loyolamarymount," Heather wrote via Instagram on May 19.

Max Dubrow

Heather and Terry Dubrow's daughter Max, Nick's twin, graduated from Tufts University in Massachusetts the same month as her brother. Max documented the special moment via Instagram on May 19.

Zahra Rock

Chris Rock and ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock reunited in Los Angeles to celebrate youngest daughter Zahra graduating from USC.

"Congratulations, Zahra! Your mom and dad, and your entire family, are so proud of your extraordinary academic achievements," Compton-Rock wrote via Instagram on May 18. "Your lifelong love of literature led you to pursue an English degree (Narrative Studies) at the University of Southern California, where you graduated with high honors! Celebrating your accomplishments over these last few days is a memory I will cherish forever."

The proud mom added, "The world is so much brighter because of the gifts you carry, and I cannot wait to see all that you will do next. We love you endlessly and are cheering you on every step of the way. Fight On forever! ."

Noah Schnapp

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp was surrounded by his family as he graduated from The University of Pennsylvania. "What, like it's hard??? @uofpenn," he captioned a series of Instagram photos from the special day on May 18.

Zahara Jolie

Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt's daughter Zahara graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology on May 17.

Deacon Phillippe

"After 4years of hard work, long days, endless papers & classes, working with the greatest teachers and making new friends ... my wonderful son graduated from @nyutisch!" Reese Witherspoon wrote via Instagram on May 15 after watching son Deacon's ceremony alongside ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

The Oscar winner added: "I'm so proud of you @deaconphillippe and bonus of the year : @lauradern was the honored speaker!"

Ryder Robinson

Kate Hudson and ex-husband Chris Robinson reunited in the Big Apple to celebrate their son, Ryder, graduating from New York University.

"We realized, I think, and I could get this wrong and offend some generation in my family, but I think he's the first person ever in my family history to graduate college," Hudson gushed during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon ahead of the May 15 ceremony.

Grace Burns

Christy Turlington and Ed Burns' eldest child, daughter Grace, graduated from New York University on May 14.

"What a week - and what a milestone. As a mother and as a parent, this moment feels profound," Turlington wrote via Instagram after the celebration. "So many hopes and dreams for my firstborn are unfolding far sooner than I ever imagined."

The supermodel continued, "There's a saying: educate a girl and you educate a nation. Jamie Lynn Spears' eldest daughter, Maddie, became a high school graduate on May 9.

Exes Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin arrived in Tennessee on May 8 to watch daughter Apple graduate from Vanderbilt University in Nashville with a degree in Law, History and Society.

Ludacris and wife Eudoxie Bridges' youngest child, daughter Chance, graduated from Pre-K in May and is headed to kindergarten.
