Grand Ole Opry Announces Star-Studded ‘Summer of the Century' Celebration

The Grand Ole Opry is turning 100 in a big way this summer.

The legendary country music institution has officially announced its "Summer of the Century" celebration, a months-long lineup of superstar performances, tribute shows and special events featuring some of the biggest names in country music.

According to the Grand Ole Opry, the celebration will include appearances from artists including Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Rodney Crowell, Jordan Davis, Tanya Tucker, Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker, Chris Janson, Craig Morgan and more throughout the summer season.

One of the centerpiece events will be Opry's annual CMA Fest week celebration, running June 2, 3, 5 and 6 in Nashville. The special shows are set to feature Carrie Underwood, Avery Anna, Jordan Davis, Maddox Batson, Deana Carter and additional guests as country music fans descend on Music City for the festival.

The Opry also announced a special Opry 100 Honors: Don Williams tribute concert on June 10 celebrating the late country legend known as the "Gentle Giant." Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood and Rodney Crowell are among the stars scheduled to honor Williams and the songs that made him one of country music's defining voices.

Later in the month, the venue will spotlight another major era in country music history with its Opry Celebrates '90s Country event on June 28. The Opry described the show as a tribute to the "artists, the songs, and the neo-traditional sound that defined the decade."

Beyond the major concerts, the Opry's "Summer of the Century" programming will also feature backstage tours throughout the season, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic venue, as well as a free Outdoor Concert Series running on Fridays and Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.

"The Opry is the sound of summer," the organization said in its announcement. "Join us for the Summer of the Century: artists you love, can't-miss shows, and Opry nights that don't cool down, all season long."

Tickets for Grand Ole Opry shows through December 2026 are on sale now through the Opry's official website.
