In addition to sharing photos of himself sitting in a chair from The Voice with his name on it, he included a video of himself listening to a voice message from fellow coach Kelly Clarkson congratulating him on joining the show.

"We have never officially met. So I am super stoked to coach alongside you. Welcome to The Voice," Kelly told him. "I was stoked when I heard you're going to be a coach because I actually am a super fan of your music, man, you're so good. You probably know that, because I've covered your songs. Anyway, big fan."

She continued, "But, needless to say, fan and all, it's a competition. So I, as a future friend, I sent you something, a little gift, a little something while you're out on the road doing shows and getting your head in the game for The Voice coming up. Because I think you're gonna need the practice, because team Kelly's gonna whoop that a--."

Green will join Clarkson, Adam Levine, and a still-unnamed fourth judge for Season 30, per Deadline.

In the comments, fans showered him with congratulatory messages as they rejoiced over the news. One Instagram user declared, "OMG, congrats, my love. I'm so proud ❤️ you deserve it all!"
