Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes Vision and The Mind Stone Revealed at MagicCon Las Vegas 2026
New cards from Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes set were revealed during the MagicCon Las Vegas 2026 Preview Panel. Wizards of the Coast highlighted Vision, showcasing multiple versions of the character that will appear in the set. They also revealed which Infinity Stone will appear in the Marvel Super Heroes set.
Multiple Versions of Vision Revealed
Vision, Synthezoid Avenger is the first version of the character revealed during the MagicCon Las Vegas 2026 Preview Panel. This card's abilities are inspired by one of Vision's most iconic powers in the comics: his ability to alter his density. The card reflects this with a triggered ability that grants Vision +1/+1 counters or makes him phase out.
Vision, Synthezoid Avenger will appear in a Marvel Super Heroes Commander deck.
The Vision is another version of the superhero revealed during the MagicCon Las Vegas 2026 Preview Panel. This card features a modal triggered ability showcasing different aspects of Vision's powers, including another interpretation of his density manipulation. Solar Beam gives Vision double strike until end of turn, reflecting his laser attack. Density Control grants him indestructible until end of turn, representing his ability to alter his density. Technopathy allows you to draw a card, showcasing Vision's intelligence and connection to technology.
The Vision will appear in the main Marvel Super Heroes set.
The Mind Stone Revealed as the Set's Headliner
Paul Bettany, who portrays Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed The Mind Stone at MagicCon Las Vegas 2026. It is the Infinity Stone associated with his character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Before the reveal, he placed the stone into the Infinity Gauntlet.
The Mind Stone in a borderless Cosmic Foil finish was revealed as the headliner for the Marvel Super Heroes set. It uses the same treatment as The Soul Stone headliner from last year's Marvel's Spider-Man set.
The Mind Stone will be another legendary artifact with the Infinity Stone subtype. Similar to The Soul Stone, it's indestructible, produces mana, and has a Harness active ability. The Mind Stone is white-aligned and produces white mana. When harnessed, it lets you blink a nonland permanent you control and return it under its owner's control at the beginning of your end step.
The Mind Stone is featured in three printings in Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes set. These include the Cosmic Foil headliner version, the standard printing, and a borderless Thanos treatment.
The Marvel Super Heroes set is scheduled to release in June 2026. Its prerelease events will be held on June 19 with the full release on June 26.
