This ‘Bold and the Beautiful' Legend Is Heading to Cannes to Receive a Prestigious Global Award
One of daytime televisions most recognizable stars, Katherine Kelly Lang, announced on social media that she will receive a special honor during Cannes festival in 2026.
Lang shared on Instagram that she will return to Cannes for the second consecutive year and receive the "Longevity Icon Award" at the Longevity Code Gala Dinner at Hôtel Martinez on May 17.
The event is described as an exclusive, invitation-only evening focused on the future of health span, vitality and human longevity.
Organizers say the gala will bring together investors, public figures, scientist and innovators for an evening of discussion and networking.
Lang added that she will be in Cannes from May 14 through May 18 and teased, "I have so much more I can't wait to share with you."
Lang made her film debut in 1979's Skatetown, U.S.A. She later made a brief apperance on The Young and the Restless in 1981 before joining The Bold and the Beautiful as Brooke Logan when the series launched in 1987.
She remains one of only two original cast members still on the soap, with co-star John McCook (Eric Forrester).
In recent years, Lang has also expanded her work behind the scenes, focusing on content creation and entrepreneurial projects.
One example came last year, when she explored a new creative medium with the fashion focused project Beyond the Lens: The Fashion Film, which was released in October 2025.
Earlier this year, Lang teased that she would be diving deeper into fashion creation, announcing to Sarkiya Ranen for The New York Journals that "I'm stepping deeper into fashion storytelling, and planning a full collection before summer."
Fans can watch The Bold and the Beautiful from the beginning on the official The Bold and the Beautiful app, BBTV.
New episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful air weekdays on CBS and stream weeknights on Paramount Plus.
