Spotify Just Teamed Up With Peloton & More to Launch a New Fitness Offering

Spotify shook up the fitness world on April 27 by launching an exciting new offering: fitness content from Peloton and a ton of fan-favorite yoga, Pilates, and exercise influencers!

"For nearly two decades, Spotify has been the soundtrack to the world's workouts," Global Head of Podcasts Roman Wasenmüller shared in a statement. "Today, we are expanding Spotify to become a true daily wellness companion."

"By bringing thousands of creators and partners like Peloton directly into our video and audio ecosystem, we are investing in a future where Spotify isn't just where you spend your time-it's where you go to build momentum, improve your wellbeing, and get more out of every day," he continued.

Content includes everything from HIIT training to yoga to Pilates to bodyweight exercises to strength straining, stretching, meditation, outdoor cardio and more. Videos can vary dramatically in length, from just a couple of minutes to an full hour-long workouts.

Here's everything to know about Spotify's new fitness offering!

How to Find Fitness Videos on Spotify

Fitness content is easy to find on Spotify. If you'd like to browse the general offerings, you can go to the "Search" tab on the app and scroll down to "Browse All" and click "Fitness." You may need to update your app if you don't see it right away.

From there, you can pick one of their featured videos or Daily Movement Mixes, or browse various types of exercise, including:

  • Strength: Weighted
  • Strenght: Bodyweight
  • Pilates & Barre
  • Yoga
  • Stretching
  • Meditation
  • Cardio: Floor
  • Cardio: Outdoor

They also offer popular workout music mixes, which already existed on the app, and a spot to browse the content of specific creators. Of course, you can also search "Fitness," the content type, or influencer's name, if you already know what you're looking for.

Which Companies and Creators Now Have Fitness Content on Spotify?

Fitness on Spotify may have only launched on April 27, but it already has countless videos available with many fan-favorite creators, including:

Of course, perhaps the biggest piece of the puzzle is the Peloton content, which already includes a catalogue of 1,400 on-demand classes including strength, cardio, yoga, and more, with no spin bike required.

Longtime Peloton fans will see some of their favorite trainers on the platform, like Rebecca Kennedy, Rad Lopez, Chelsea Jackson Roberts and Zacharias Niedzwiecki.

How Much Does Fitness Content on Spotify Cost?

Fitness content on Spotify is available with both free and paid subscriptions, though there are some caveats. The free plan will of course include ads, and while unpaid subscribers will have access to tons of fitness content from beloved influencers, the Peloton catalogue will only be available to Premium members.
