SSR Daiwa Scarlet (Power) Stats And Skills
This Daiwa Scarlet card boasts impressive stats for Trackblazer, albeit lacking some of the desirable QoL stats. Notably, at max level, it offers a whopping 35% Friendship Bonus alongside a decent 10% Race Bonus, although it completely lacks any Training Effectiveness or Specialty Priority.
| Featured Gold Skill | Effect | |
|---|---|---|
Neck and Neck | Increase acceleration when positioned toward the front late-race. (Pace Chaser) |
This gold skill is the biggest reason to use this card in your deck. It is the gold version of [Head-On], which is the prime late-race acceleration skill for Pace Chasers. However, since the activation triggers at a random point, it only works best on shorter tracks (Sprint, Mile) where the spurt zone is much longer.
| Event Skill | Effect | |
|---|---|---|
Feature Act | Slightly increase velocity when positioned toward the front upon approaching late-race. (Long) | |
Up-Tempo | Slightly increase positioning ability when positioned toward the front mid-race. (Medium) | |
Stamina to Spare | Slightly decrease fatigue upon approaching mid-race. (Pace Chaser) |
| Hint Skill | Effect | |
|---|---|---|
Competitive Spirit ○ | Moderately increase performance when many other runners are using the same strategy. | |
Preferred Position | Slightly decrease fatigue mid-race. (Pace Chaser) | |
Prepared to Pass | Slightly increase the ability to break out of the pack on the final corner. (Pace Chaser) | |
Pace Chaser Corners ○ | Slightly increase velocity on a corner. (Pace Chaser) | |
Straight Descent | Slightly improve running on a downhill. (Pace Chaser) |
Daiwa Scarlet's innate and event skills are strong options that help Pace Chasers gain an extra advantage on specific tracks. She grants access to two consistent recovery skills for Pace Chasers, [Preferred Position] and [Stamina to Spare], which are highly beneficial for Christmas Oguri Cap's setup to activate her unique skill.
Should You Pull Analysis
SSR Daiwa Scarlet (Power)
Strengths
- Good stats for Trackblazer
- Access to [Neck and Neck]
- Strong Pace Chaser skills
- Usable at Level 30 (0LB)
Weaknesses
- Lacks Training Effectiveness and Specialty Priority
- [Neck and Neck] is less effective on longer tracks
- 10% Race Bonus unlocked at MLB
SSR Daiwa Scarlet's stats are somewhat peculiar. She possesses excellent Friendship Bonus and Race Bonus, but lacks Training Effectiveness to enhance her training, or Specialty Priority to increase the frequency of her "rainbows". Despite its obvious flaws, the card remains serviceable even at 0LB, where it still retains at least 5% Race Bonus and 25% Friendship Bonus.
Rating
SSR Daiwa Scarlet (Power) - 4/5
F2P Value - Low to Moderate
While the card can be situationally strong, it remains stuck between several meta banners, such as Ballroom Seiun Sky, Nishino Flower, or the upcoming SSR Mr. C.B. (Wit) card. However, the banner still remains a decent option if you just want to pull, since it includes a rate-up for one of the best SR Wit cards, SR Sweep Tosho.
