FFA Plant Sales

What: FFA students at Kamiakin and Kennewick high schools will have a variety of bedding plants, hanging baskets and more available at their annual spring plant sales.

When/where:

  • Kamiakin High: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 29 and 9 a.m. to noon on April 30 at the Kamiakin greenhouse.
  • Kennewick High: 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays starting April 29 until sold out at the Kennewick High greenhouse.

Richland Library Sale

What:
The Friends of the Richland Public Library are hosting their spring book sale. Items include new and old book treasures, magazines, DVD’s, audio-books, games and more. The event kicks off with a preview for Friends members and Saturday is Bag Day – Fill a bag for just $5.

Where: Richland Public Library in the Gallery Room, 955 Northgate Drive.

When: Thursday, April 28, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Friends members.

Mid-Columbia Libraries Giant Book Sale

What: Friends of Mid-Columbia Libraries is hosting its spring used book, DVD, CD and audiobook sale with all proceeds benefiting Mid-Columbia Libraries. Debit and credit cards accepted. Bring your own box or bag.

Where: Main Kennewick Branch, 1620 S. Union St.

When: April 23-May 1. Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What: The Pit Bull Pen Dog Rescue shoe drive fundraiser - The nonprofit is collecting donations of new or gently worn shoes to raise funds for rescue operations.
