Beautiful views and amenities set Canyon Lakes apart when it comes to hosting a wedding.
Hold your nuptials outside at the gazebo or your church, then hold the reception in the 3,000-square foot Champions Room, which can comfortably accommodate 200 people.
“We are priced where no one can touch us,” head golf professional Matt Mendell said. “We have great service and a beautiful environment. It’s quaint and quiet.”
A large fireplace in the Champions Room will add ambiance to a fall or winter wedding.
There also are several places on the course for breathtaking photos, including the signature fountain on Hole 9, and a creek with a bridge at Hole 12.
The meal options for the reception range from a sandwich buffet to a top-of-the-line prime rib, steak, salmon or chicken dinner. A full bar also is an option.
There are large televisions for videos, a sound system for music, a dance floor, and on-site staff to assist.
The golf course hosts 30 to 40 weddings and events per year, and turns away several others.
Canyon Lakes also hosts Easter brunch, a Mother’s Day brunch, Okotoberfest, and a New Year’s Eve party.
