Letter: Red scare over guns

Dear Comrade,

Just as I predicted back in 1967, our country could never defeat the U.S. military. As I said, we could only destroy the United States from within. Their nation is now totally divided. Now is the time pit the masses against the bourgeoisie. Just as Comrade Lenin did, we need to first identify those that could challenge us and eliminate them.

Second, we must identify those that could carry the war to the streets and disarm them. We need for those “useful idiots” to do the work for us. We need to push their politicians to pass laws for the masses to register all their firearms in order for our secret police to eventually round them all up when those “useful idiots” aren’t looking.

Because the bourgeoisie had no weapons to stop us, Comrade Stalin was able to show us how to eliminate tens of millions enemies of the state. Thank goodness we never kept accurate records of the number of people we sent to the gulags and executed. Not like the records that were kept by those idiot Nazis.
