Richland police are investigating a dispute that left a taxi passenger's blood on the hood of his ride.

The dispute happened around 2 a.m. in the parking lot of the Shilo Inn at 50 Comstock Street, Richland Lt. Chris Lee said.

The taxi's driver was dropping off the passenger when the disagreement allegedly started.

At some point, the cabbie crashed into another car in the parking lot, pinning the passenger's leg between the front bumpers of the two cars.

The passenger was treated at Kadlec Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

Police didn't arrest anyone or release their names.
