Update: BMW flips at Road 68 after missing red light

One person was hurt in a collision at the intersection of Road 68 and Burden Boulevard in Pasco late Wednesday afternoon.

The driver of a white BMW SUV allegedly ran the red light on Road 68, colliding with a Ford 150 pickup as it was starting to cross the busy intersection with the greet light, said police Sgt. Brad Gregory.

The pickup hit the SUV, rolling it onto its side.

The BMW’s driver, a 57-year-old woman, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.

The wreck caused traffic delays on Interstate 182, after triggering another minor multi-car collision.
