Fire scorches 3 acres in central Kennewick
Kennewick fire crews tackled a small grass fire Tuesday morning near Desert Lawn Memorial Park in central Kennewick.
The fire burned about three acres, some construction debris and sheds off South Reed Street and West 12th Avenue.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, said Kennewick fire inspector Brian Ellis.
Benton County Fire District 1 crews also helped.
No one was injured.
