Car races through Kennewick parking lot, hits planter and rolls

An elderly man went for a wild ride through the parking lot of Target and Red Lobster on Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick on Monday.

Preliminary reports are the man had a medical episode causing him to drive through a parking lot, striking a parking island and planter, then rolling his car on its top.

The driver was taken to a hospital and his condition is not known.
