HomeGoods opens Aug. 21 at Columbia Center
Kennewick’s newest home decor store debuts at Columbia Center this month.
HomeGoods, an off-price furnishings division of The TJX Cos., will open at 8 a.m. Aug. 21 at 1321 N. Columbia Center Blvd.
Simon Property Group, which owns the mall, constructed the new 22,126-square-foot building near the shopping center’s southeastern corner for its newest tenant.
HomeGoods regular store hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays. It will employ about 65.
HomeGoods carries furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, gourmet kitchen and dining items, bedding, bath, kid’s decor and other home-related items.
The TJX Cos. operated 526 HomeGoods locations in 45 states and Puerto Rico at the end of 2015, including seven in Washington. It expects to grow to 576 stores by 2017 and eventually to 1,000 locations.
