Kennewick High School teenager dies by suicide
Kennewick High School officials said Wednesday that one of the school's students died by suicide Tuesday.
The Benton County Coroner's Office confirmed Jacob Tague, 18, died from a gunshot at his home on South Edison Street.
Principal Ron King said students were told of Tague's death by their teachers during homeroom Wednesday morning. Kennewick police are investigating.
Benton Franklin Crisis Response Team members are helping school counselors this week to meet with students who want to talk with someone. King also said parents can call the school if they think their student needs help.
