Cold War Patriots hold town hall meetings for Hanford workers
An advocacy group helping nuclear weapons and uranium workers will hold a series of town hall meetings in the Tri-Cities this week.
Cold War Patriots will help current and former nuclear weapons workers and their survivors learn about the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act.
Sessions will be held:
▪ 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Tuesday, at the Hampton Inn, 486 Bradley Blvd., Richland;
▪ 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Red Lion Columbia Center, 1101 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Kennewick
▪ and 11 a.m., Thursday, at Yakima’s Hilton Garden Inn, 401 E. Yakima Ave.
Sessions are for those who have never applied for benefits, those who have been denied and those who have pending applications. Go to coldwarpatriots.org for information.
