Big Bend Electric Co-op to keep rates steady in 2017
Customers of Big Bend Electric Cooperative will have no rate increase for the third year in a row.
The cooperative provides electricity to customers in Adams and Franklin counties.
Although the cooperative’s board has decided to keep rates steady in 2017, the cooperative warns that rising costs from its wholesale power supplier, Bonneville Power Administration, may require a rate increase in future years.
