Pasco police name home intruder who was shot
A 23-year-old Pasco man remains hospitalized after being shot in the pancreas while allegedly kicking in the door of a Pasco apartment last Friday.
Christian A. Acosta was in stable condition Tuesday, said police Sgt. Brad Gregory.
Officers responded to the apartment on the 700 block of West Lewis Street after Acosta reportedly forced his way into the home of Pedro Madinas, 19, of Pasco, at 6:45 p.m.
Investigators are still trying to determine why Acosta went to the apartment. “They were strangers,” said Gregory.
Pasco police released the names of both men on Tuesday.
