Harry Potter party planned July 30 in honor of new book

A “Harry Potter Countdown to Midnight Party” is planned July 30 at Barnes & Noble in the Columbia Center mall in Kennewick.

The party starts at 8 p.m., leading up to the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child — Parts One & Two.

It will feature a “Muggle Wall” for sharing Harry Potter memories, plus giveaways and other activities.
