Myles Garrett Buzz Could Distract From An Even Scarier Rams Offense
The Rams have been all over the headlines this offseason from making blockbuster deals for Chiefs superstar cornerback Trent McDuffie and signing his co-star Jaylen Watson, to fleecing Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns for the bargain of sending Jared Verse and a first round pick next year in 2026.
But with all that buzz around Garrett what does that say for the high powered offense that Mathew Stafford is bringing on the other side?
This Offense Can Be Legendary
Boasting an offense on paper that has Devante Adams, Puka Nacua, Kyrien Williams in tandem with an explosive Blake Corum, this team has weapons everywhere. Just like when Kurt Warner and company had Torrie Holt, Issac Bruce, Marshall Faulk. Adams had the most receiving touchdowns last season, Puka Nacua was making highlight catches every single week and Williams made plays everywhere from catching passes to making key blocks for Stafford.
The Rams had the most passing touchdowns in 2025 and they also had the second most passing yards. But most importantly they were tied for the least amount of sacks allowed in only allowing 23 in 2025. That is all running out of 13 personnel too.
Alaric Jackson's Offseason Problems Should Not Make Fans Worry
The offensive line is in good shape as well even with the recent problems with Alaric Jackson in the news. At the blindside position that is a key problem that truly could become a problem if he is suspended but barring a suspension he is the starting left tackle. The two easiest fixes for if Jackson would be suspended would be to either hire former all-star left tackle Taylor Decker and or hire someone like Joe Noteboom or Cam Robinson to play on the right side and move Warren McClendon to left tackle for the suspended games.
That solution with Noteboom or Robinson would be the most cost effective if the Rams are still wishing in the Seven Star Wishing Well for Aaron Donald to come out of retirement.
Why All This Attention Really Matters
All the Garrett news essentially just forces every opponent to focus so hard on him that they just forget how special this offense really is coming into 2026. They don't realize that even though others believe the Rams could have used their 13th overall pick on Mekai Lemon or Kenyon Sadiq, they truly don't see just how good players like Jordan Whittington, Terrence Ferguson and Konata Mumpfield are. Their abilities should definitely be on the rise coming into the season, potentially helping in the same ways as Super Bowl winners Az-Zahir Hakim and Ricky Proehl both did for the Greatest Show On Turf.
