Who Scored for France?

Mbappe has reached 16 World Cup goals in his career and is two goals away from the new top goalscorer in World Cup history, Lionel Messi, who has two goals earlier today, which sees him at 18 World Cup goals.

In the first half, Mbappe scored from outside the box in the 14th minute with his left foot, which traveled right past Ahmed Basil Fadhil.

In the second half, a horrible mistake from Basil Fadhil led to Ousmane Dembele winning the ball and passing to Mbappe, who simply passed the ball into the empty net.

Ousmane Dembele would also get on the scoresheet after finishing low across Basil Fadhil. Michael Olise provided the assist, and it was his second of the night after providing the assist for the first Mbappe goal.

The winners were once again the French attack, who are starting to look glued together with Olise behind the front three of Mbappe, Dembele, and Bradley Barcola.

The losers were the Iraqi defense, which looked very vulnerable when attempting to stop the French attackers throughout the second half.
