Bulls and Caleb Wilson Looking More Like a Sure Thing
The Bulls got lucky in the 2026 NBA draft. They have the No. 4 selection and No. 15. It’s rare when a franchise gets so much goodness early in the draft, so that’s a good thing for Chicago.
But, they need it. The Bulls are going through a total makeover. They have a new front office headed up by Bryson Graham, a new head coach and will soon have new players. This team is going to be unrecognizable by the start of the 2026 season.
So, who will the Chicago Bulls take with their No. 4 draft pick? One name that keeps standing out is Caleb Wilson.
In his latest mock, Jeremy Woo of ESPN once again links the Bulls to Wilson.

In the piece, Woo notes that the “leap in productivity he took at North Carolina greatly enhanced how teams view his long-term prospects — his exceptional quickness off the floor and improved motor make him a strong bet to be a high-impact NBA player. As a result, most view this pick as one of the lower-pressure spots and expect it to be a relatively simple decision for Chicago.”
Why Caleb Wilson to the Chicago Bulls Works
Wilson to the Bulls just makes sense. He’s a highly athletic player who’s already ready to step into the NBA. There shouldn’t be much of a learning curve here. He doesn’t have the name recognition of a Cameron Boozer yet, but he could get there quickly.

Wilson is a big man for the current era, offering a 6’10” height, 7’1″ wingspan, speed and versatility on the court. This is the kind of player who could make a real difference for a franchise like Chicago, which doesn’t have many stars to their name. He’ll have the opportunity to play right away, and it could be just a short time before he starts to really thrive.
