Walla Walla Sweets Roller Derby hosting pride bout on Saturday

The Walla Walla Sweets Roller Derby team will hope to skate circles around Pullman's Rolling Hills Derby at its pride bout on Saturday at the Walla Walla YMCA.

The first of three home bouts this season will start at 7:30 p.m. at 340 S Park St., with $10 early bird tickets available online up until an hour before the bout starts at wallawallasweetsrollerderby.org. Regular tickets are $12 and children under 12 get in free. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and a cash raffle will be held at half time.

Every home bout this season will benefit a local organization. Saturday's match will support Triple Point Walla Walla, a program that offers services to LBGTQ+ youth.
