Jalen Brunson Makes His Opinion of OG Anunoby Very Clear
The New York Knicks secured a historic comeback victory at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, erasing a 29-point San Antonio Spurs lead to notch a 107-106 win in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Superstar point guard Jalen Brunson launched a deep three-point attempt as time expired in the fourth quarter. The shot bounced off the front rim, but Knicks forward OG Anunoby crashed toward the basket and tipped it in to give New York its one-point lead.
Anunoby put on an absolute masterclass in Game 4, recording 33 points on an efficient 10/15 shooting from the field and 7/9 shooting from behind the 3-point arc.
After the game, Brunson was asked if he feels Anunoby is “underrated.”
“OG is someone who brings it every night. Does what’s asked of him, plus more every single night,” Brunson said. “Regardless of what the outside world thinks of him, we know what we have in that locker room. We have a superstar in that locker room.”
