Brittany Mahomes Reacts To Patrick Becoming NFL's First $500 Million Player

Brittany Mahomes is a happy woman on Wednesday night.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes became the NFL's first $500 million player on Wednesday. The Chiefs added two more years and some more money to his contract on Wednesday. Mahomes' contract is now worth more than a half a billion dollars. He's the first player in NFL history to reach that mark.

"Over the last decade, Patrick has become one of the most iconic, beloved sports figures of all time… He has helped lead our franchise to five Super Bowl appearances and three championships, he has been instrumental in shaping the Chiefs brand and putting Kansas City on the world stage, and on top of it all he has been an outstanding role model in the community. Patrick is a generational talent and an elite human being, and I'm so excited he will continue to lead our team into the future," Chiefs owner Clark Hunt shared.

The Chiefs are excited, too.

"It's a good day in Chiefs Kingdom," the team announced on Wednesday evening, June 10.

"Locked in for more Mahomes."

Brittany Mahomes is a happy wife on Wednesday night

The wife of the three-time Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is extremely happy, naturally.

She took to her Instagram Story to celebrate.

"Blessed," she wrote.

Patrick Mahomes is excited, too.

"CHIEFS KINGDOM!!!! We are here to stay! Love this place and the people that are apart of it and thank yall for being there for me and my family everyday! We ain't done yet tho! ⏰," he wrote.

Patrick Mahomes is now under contract and signed through his Age 38 season.
