Toutle Lake's Oliver Foster named WIAA Athlete of the Week
Toutle Lake junior Oliver Foster was named one of the WIAA Athletes of the Week last week following stellar performances on the baseball field for the Ducks.

He helped Toutle Lake beat Toledo at districts and had strong outings for the Ducks in their opening two wins in the state tournament as they advanced to the semifinals for the fourth time in the last five years.
Toutle Lake baseball: Oliver Foster
Toutle Lake's Oliver Foster was named one of the WIAA Athletes of the Week last week.
In those three games, Foster totaled seven hits and five RBIs at the plate while stealing four bases. He had four hits and two RBIs in Toutle Lake's 20-19 victory over Kittitas in the state quarterfinals on Saturday, May 23. In the Ducks' 12-2 win over Mount Vernon Christian in the opening round of state on the same day, he recorded two hits and two RBIs. Foster added a hit and an RBI during a 4-3 victory over Toledo on Saturday, May 16.
Toutle Lake fell to Napavine 6-5 in the state semifinals, but the team beat Northwest Christian 6-3 in the consolation finals to place third. The Ducks finished the season with a 21-7 overall record.
