Caitlin Clark Shares Sweet Moment With Connor McCaffery After Fever Win

Love was in the air after Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever topped the Atlanta Dream, 83-71, on Thursday.

Clark finished with 17 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in 31 minutes. The win improved Indiana to 5-4 on the season.

With the on-court business handled, Clark found something just as rewarding off it. After the final buzzer at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Clark shared a warm moment with boyfriend Connor McCaffery.

The two exchanged a hug and shared a quick conversation. The two-time All-Star left the floor with a smile on her face before heading to the locker room.

Cameras caught the heartwarming exchange.

Clark and McCaffery first crossed paths during her college days at Iowa. The couple celebrated their three-year anniversary last April.

McCaffery has long been one of Clark's most devoted supporters, attending Fever games whenever his schedule allows. He also flew to Puerto Rico to support Clark during Team USA's qualifying tournament last March.

McCaffery brings a strong basketball background to the relationship. The former Iowa men's basketball player currently serves as a player development assistant for the Noblesville Boom of the NBA G League. He previously worked as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers before spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Butler.

Meanwhile, Clark's performance against the Dream was a bounce-back effort. She posted a season-low six points in Indiana's previous loss to the Portland Fire.

Clark had plenty of help. Kelsey Mitchell scored 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting. Aliyah Boston added 19 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

Through every high and every low, McCaffery has remained Clark's steadiest presence off the court.
