MLB The Show 26 Patch Notes Address Franchise and Diamond Dynasty
The developers behind MLB The Show 26 are back with another round of fixes as Game Update 11 prepares to roll out on June 2. The update addresses bugs across Diamond Dynasty, Head-to-Head, Franchise, and Road to the Show while also delivering a roster refresh that includes player likeness updates, attribute changes, and transactions.
The update is scheduled to deploy at 4 a.m. PT on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Franchise Updates
Franchise players will receive a new roster update following a content update scheduled for June 2 at approximately 12 p.m. PT.
According to the developers, the roster includes more than 40 updates covering player likenesses, attributes, potentials, and transactions. The likeness updates will also be reflected in Diamond Dynasty.
The patch also fixes an issue that could cause future All-Star Games to load into incorrect stadiums in both Franchise and Road to the Show.
Diamond Dynasty and Online Fixes
Several issues impacting Diamond Dynasty have been addressed.
Diamond Dynasty fixes include:
- Fixed a bug where a blank squad could appear after completing a Play vs Friend game.
- Fixed an issue where some users did not have a game or stat history.
- Fixed a bug where the Orioles logo could incorrectly appear on the postgame screen.
Head-to-Head fixes include:
- Fixed a freeze that could occur after substituting a pitcher during a mound visit.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when viewing a player card from the pause menu.
Miscellaneous Improvements
The update also includes a handful of quality-of-life changes.
Additional fixes include:
- Open Packs now displays the number of unopened packs.
- Ryan Waldschmidt's bat will no longer glow bright green.
- Various audio bug fixes.
