Dan Le Batard Demands Reporters Make Jaxson Dart 'Uncomfortable'

Former ESPN host Dan Le Batard is demanding that reporters make Jaxson Dart "uncomfortable" moving forward.

Dart, a second-year quarterback for the New York Giants, introduced President Trump at a rally in New York over the weekend. Dart, who played collegiately at Ole Miss, said it was an honor and a privilege to introduce the President of the United States. Not everyone felt that way, though.

Le Batard criticized the New York media for not doing more to make Dart feel "uncomfortable." He wants reporters to ask more out of Dart.

"If you want to be the quarterback who introduces Donald Trump during this time, then please, expound your thoughts," Le Batard began. "I want him put in a position [by the New York media] to sound educated or uneducated with the decision. He deserves to be made uncomfortable if he's going to support this particular presidency during a deeply uncomfortable time."

Le Batard asked the media to confront Dart about Trump's supposed "attack on freedom."

Not everyone agrees with Le Batard, though.

Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason is defending Dart's decision

Esiason criticized Abdul Carter, who called out Dart for his decision to introduce President Trump.

"This was a real error on the part of Abdul Carter, not on the part of Jaxson Dart," Esiason said. "Jaxson Dart was asked to introduce the President of the United States. How many people get an opportunity to do something like that, regardless of who the president is. You may have hated Barack Obama, you may have hated Joe Biden. And some guys didn't want to go to the White House because they didn't like those presidents, just like other guys didn't want to go to the White House because they didn't like President Trump."

"But to put this out like a child on social media is ridiculous. And then when I heard, ‘yea we spoke man to man,' there was only one man on that call and that was Jaxson Dart. You were a man who was late to meetings, you were a man who didn't live up to your draft choice. You're a man who wanted to wear #56, and by the way your idol #56 has introduced Donald Trump numerous times, so I don't want to hear this. He made another just boneheaded error by going to social media."

This likely won't be the last we hear about it.
